Help With Bills

We know that paying your bills can be a struggle sometimes and we’re here for you.

Billing Questions

Q: How do we charge?
A: We send you a bill that shows all of the services we provide you and share how much they cost.

Q: What if my bill is not accurate?
A: If you’re not responsible for paying the bill or if the billing information is incorrect, contact us right away. We want to help you, but we can’t if we do not know about the problem.

Q: What if I can’t afford my water bill?
A: We don’t want anyone to stress paying their water bills, so please contact us for help.

Q: What if I’m a tenant?
A: If you are renting it’s usually the person living in and using the water that’s responsible for the bill. Bills are sometimes included in your rent, so double-check your leasing agreement. We’ll send the bill to the landlord if they’ve let us know that they’re responsible for it.

Q: What happens if I don’t pay?
A: If you’re not responsible for paying the bill or if the billing information is incorrect, contact us right away. We want to help you, but we can’t if we do not know about the problem. If you don’t pay, your water will be shut off. We don’t want this to happen, so please contact us if there’s a problem.

Understanding Your Bill

Find your payment total

Look at the top right of your paper bill to find the “total current charges”. This is the amount due.

Find your account information

Make sure that all your personal information is correct on the bill before filling out the payment form. Look for your name, address, and account number. If any of this information is not right, please contact us right away.

Water billing cycle

Look at the bottom left of your bill to find your “reading period”. These are the days that you are being billed for.

Double-check the billing date

Look at the bottom right of your paper bill to find your “due date”. Try to pay your bill by this date to avoid any late fees or charges that could carry over to your next water bill.

Pay your bill

Cut off and fill out the bottom section of the form. Put this slip and a check in an envelope addressed to us, and mail it in. Only mail in the bottom section of the form and keep the top of the document as a receipt, if you would like.
