For the first time ever, the Bedford County Public Service Authority (Authority) has released a combined Annual Report and Water Quality Report. This joint report now provides the customer with a complete report of what the Authority has done in 2011, provides the goals for 2012, and also incorporates the water quality information that is required to be sent to every customer.

“The Authority is always looking for ways to provide more helpful information to its customers and reach out to them;” said Brian Key, Authority Executive Director. “This report allows the Authority to provide vital information to customers while also educating them about what the Authority does for them all year long.”

Highlights of the report include:
• Statistics about the Authority in 2011
• A letter from the Executive Director, Brian Key
• Summary of what the Authority has accomplished in 2011
• Summary of the strategic plan of the Authority for 2012-2016
• A financial report of fiscal year 2010-2011 and projections for fiscal year 2011-2012
• Authority goals for 2012
• An overview of the customer population of the Authority
• Information about the quality of your drinking water (CCR information)
• Information about the Board of Directors

These reports will be mailed out to every water customer of the Authority and are also available for viewing online at www.bcpsa.com. The report also offers an incentive for customers to provide feedback on the report (via a survey found on www.bcpsa.com) to earn $100 credit towards their bill.
